RNE Flower Bed Project (10-15 People Needed)

posted Sep 5, 2014, 3:40 AM by Craig Ficik

Here is a great opportunity to assist at our school and get some additional Community Service hours if you are available. It should not take a great deal of time and would be a great experience for our scouts. If you are free and interested in helping out, please email me and let me know so I can inform the project coordinator. The weeds are a real eyesore and this will hopefully put an end to that once and for all.
Thanks, John Hannah

Roswell North community, with the help of the Roswell Recycling Center, the Exterior Committee is looking to put down a weed barrier in the two islands/beds on Woodstock road in front of the school to control weeds until permanent landscaping can be installed.  If you are available, we are looking for volunteers to meet Saturday morning at 9AM to clean up those beds, lay down a weed barrier, and redistribute the mulch already in place. With a group of 10 – 15 people, we should be able to take care of the work in less than 2 hours.  Please bring gloves, rakes (leaf and garden), hoes, and shovels if you have them.
